Sun Fire (Errgi Dandjl)
The Sun to Aboriginal people is the giver of life, warmth and nurtures our Mother Earth. Comfort is felt knowing that with each day the guarantee of a sunrise and sunset will start and end our days. This allows Mother Nature to birth new life and regain her strength.
The Sun signifies the opportunity for a second chance. A nourishing reminder that there will always be another day to reach your full potential and have another go.
The Sun in its beauty can also be dangerous, fiery, harsh and unforgiving to our landscape. At times heat radiating off the sun and landscape encourages sparks of flames across country.
