Short Dress: Flat Country Scrub (Abura)
Fabric story: "Abura" Flat Country Scrub
Within a section of our Flat Country there is 40mile scrub. The ground features crushed basalt stone providing fertile soil that supports the rare semi-evergreen vine-thicket. Distinctive trees include broad-leaved bottle trees, burdekin plums, Cypress pine, paperbarks, ironbarks and lemon-scented gum trees dominant this diverse dry rainforest shrubbery.
All pieces are crafted and developed locally in Cairns by Cindy Hudson head seamstress (Jedess’ Mother). This allows Cindy and Jedess to ensure that each piece has high-quality workmanship.
