Shield Street Heart Project

In 2017, Jedess was commissioned to produce public artworks for the Cairns Regional Council for Shields Street Heart project. These public art works were projected Gobos. 

A range of local First Nations artists participated in the project which aimed to: 

- Create a modern attractive streetscape
- Cover 3 city blocks
- Movement >10,000 pedestrians per day
- Building on popularity and success of Esplanade
- Support of Cairns Reconciliation Action Plan
- Fulfilment of Cairns City Master Plan 2011
