Yarn x Jedess Hudson: Weaving Country into Thread

I’m thrilled to share my collaboration with Yarn, a collection that brings together culture, colour, and craft through the story of Country and community. For this project, we have reimagined my Twinkling Star design into a bedspread with pillow to match, aswell as canvas potted covers. 

Through Yarn’s platform, the work is accessible to a broader creative community, giving the collection the potential to be transformed into garments, accessories, or homewares that carry Indigenous design into everyday life.

Working with Yarn has been an exciting opportunity to merge fine art, cultural storytelling, and textile design. This project shows how Aboriginal art can move beyond the 2D art into craft, commerce, and community. I look forward to seeing the collection grow.
